Cosm and Fox Team Up to Bring 40 World Cup Matches into Immersive Shared-Reality Domes in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Atlanta

Posted on: 05/12/2026

Forty matches from the upcoming World Cup will be broadcast live inside Cosm venues, featuring an 87-foot LED dome that delivers an experience almost as close to the action as being in the stadium.

Fox Sports and Cosm have announced a partnership to screen these matches at their shared-reality locations in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Atlanta. The lineup includes all three of the US men’s national team’s group-stage games, two of Mexico’s three group matches, the majority of the early knockout rounds, and every contest from the round of 16 through the final. The Atlanta venue is set to open the day before the tournament begins.

Cosm captures the match in 12K resolution directly from the host stadium, transmitting it live to its domes, where approximately 1,200 spectators enjoy a perspective that no broadcast booth or upper-tier seat can replicate. Fox also pulls a separate feed for its standard television coverage.

“We see this space exploding right now,” said Michael Bucklin, Fox Sports’ SVP of digital. “This is quite literally the best seat in the house at any event you ever want to go to. We want to make big events feel bigger. We want to give fans access, and this is a great combination of both of those things.”

The watch-party element is an added bonus. Live cameras positioned inside each Cosm venue will capture the crowd’s reactions and beam them back out across Fox’s broadcasts and digital platforms. Bucklin pointed to Freddie Freeman’s walk-off grand slam in last year’s World Series—the footage of fans reacting inside a Cosm dome spread everywhere. Now, Fox will have that same dynamic for 40 World Cup matches.

The action stays on the pitch, but the celebration unfolds inside the dome.
